Marzena’s love of architecture & interior design started in junior high school when her brother suggested it after watching her constantly draw buildings and furniture. Shortly after, she saw a picture of the “Falling Water” house by Frank Lloyd Wright and yearned to learn more about his work.

Thanks to her brother’s suggestion, she was able to start her studies in high school where they offered a CAD in Architecture class. Afterward, she attended the Illinois Institute of Technology to study architecture further and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the International Institute of Art & Technology in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design.

Since then, she has worked with architects, construction companies, design-build firms, independent builders, and product manufacturers. She has experience in commercial, healthcare, institutional, and residential design because of the different companies she has been a part of. In the last 10 years, she has focused on kitchen and bath design which led her to become a part of the LaMantia team.
